Our Story- NOT EVEN A SPARK

We are the Labie family — a family of eight, living life with full hands, full hearts, and a deep faith that carries us through every season… especially the ones we never saw coming.

In 2023, our lives changed in an instant.

At 33 years old, my husband Zach was diagnosed with Stage 3C colorectal cancer.
No warning. No family history. No time to brace ourselves.

Overnight, our world became appointment schedules, waiting rooms, scan results, and whispered prayers spoken through tears. We were parenting five little ones who still needed breakfast made, bandaids, bedtime stories, and reassurance… while our own hearts were breaking behind closed doors.

But in the darkest part of the healing journey, God's word held true. Isaiah 43:2 promises that even when we walk through the fire, we will not be burned, Not Even a Spark.

In the valley we experienced...

A peace that didn’t make sense.
A closeness to God we had never known.
A strength that only comes from Heaven.
A quiet surrender and the voice of God who guided every step.
