There are many diets that claim to heal, but here’s what we’ve learned through our own journey:
Return to how we were created to eat.
Simple. Pure. From the earth. Think: The Garden of Eden.
A plant-powered, nutrient-dense diet helps the body reduce inflammation, strengthen the immune system, restore gut balance, and support cellular repair.
This is not about restriction — it’s about rebuilding.
When Zach was healing from cancer, this is what he daily meal plan looked like:
-
50+ ounces of juice everyday
-
32 ounce fiber smoothie
-
1-2 giant salads packed with cruciferous vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes and berries
Why Juicing Helps the Body Heal
When you juice, you are concentrating the nutrition of whole plants into a form your body can absorb quickly and easily without using much energy to digest it.
Your digestive system requires huge amounts of energy every day. When you’re healing, your body needs that energy to:
- Repair damaged cells
- Strengthen the immune system
- Reduce inflammation
- Detox and cleanse waste + toxins
By removing the fiber through juicing, you give your stomach and intestines a rest, which frees your body to focus on healing instead of heavy digestion.
In short: Juicing floods your cells with nutrients while giving your body the energy it needs to restore and repair.
Benefits of Juicing
- Floods cells with vitamins, minerals, enzymes & phytonutrients
- Reduces inflammation and oxidative stress
- Supports detox pathways
- Nourishes the microbiome and supports gut healing
- Strengthens immune function by freeing up energy used for digestion

Fiber - Can we make fiber the new protein?
Fiber is one of the most powerful, gentle ways your body removes toxins, balances hormones, supports gut bacteria, and reduces inflammation. When your body is under stress or fighting disease, your detox pathways need to be moving. Waste cannot sit in the body. Your bowels need to flow daily for true healing to happen. Fiber binds to toxins, escorts them out, feeds your microbiome, regulates blood sugar, and supports your immune system. Healing isn’t just about what you put in, it’s about what your body can release.
40-Gram Fiber Smoothie

Eat color! Switch it up, try new recipes and have fun with it... but remember this, you do not need to change everything overnight. Just begin. One juice. One smoothie. One salad. One hopeful step at a time.
Your body was designed by God to heal. Your job is to create the environment for that healing to happen.
